The green lynx spider. This large spider is an agile hunter. It can be found on shrubs and in grassland where it either seeks out its prey or waits in ambush. The female constructs a disc shaped egg sac on vegetation and will guard it. This spider is found in the southern states in the USA. In the East it is usually green in colour but the West it tends to be more yellow in colour.
