Amaurobuis similis

These spiders make funnel webs of lacy, fluffy silk. This spider likes to build its home in holes in fences and often around window frames. Females occur all year round, males occur towards the end of the summer. These spider can be seen (with the aid of a torch) at night time building their webs.
